At Marissa & John's East Texas nuptials (complete with a musical appearance by The Spazmatics, which only MWM could pull off) I spent the day playing face with her 6 beautiful bridesmaids. Here's a look at Sarah, Libby & Kellner from Marissa's big day!

I had the wonderful pleasure of getting Denee all dolled up for her mommy-to-be photo session. Denee, her hubby JJ and their precious little pea Molly Sue headed to the canal in Las Colinas for their family photo opp!

On Denee I used my new Iwata Airbrush foundation system to enhance her already glowing mommy complexion and Love Thing mineral blush by MAC for rosey cheeks.

On her eyes: light pink (Strawberry Daiquiri) and deep plum (Kir Royal) shimmer shadow from Bare Minerals, Laura Mercier Eye Caviar liner and a pair of false lashes for an extra pop!

This is long overdue, but now that I have the chance to gush ... I will do just that! Last month, I was given the opportunity to invite my glamorous gals to my very own DIOR cosmetic parties by the lovely ladies at Neiman Marcus NorthPark. On the scene was jetsetting Internation Dior artist Thuy Deip and a handful of super-chic Dior associates who walked us through the newest collection of beauty bests and gotta-have products. Yours Truly even got to participate in a demo. Like a kid in a candy shop, I filled my bag with all sorts of goodies including Capture Totale radiance boosting serum, a handly little travel cosmetic palette, and my favorite mascara ever, DiorShow waterproof in black. Don't forget to head to Neimans for all your happy holiday needs - because what girl wouldnt like a little Dior in her stocking?

natural so I instantly thought pretty pink and mauve eyes would play up her gorgeous porcelain skin tone. Light on the bronzer, pinkish-honey colored blush, my favorite Dior mascara, and these great Benefit creaseless cream shadow eye shadow in Flatter Me and Get Figgy. Perfect.

Men's Makeup.... Ok, well I've only done it once, but according to various sources, it turned out great-but of course Neal's handsome face played a helpful role in the project. I had the pleasure of being the makeup artist on the set of Neal McCoy's Wrangler photo shoot a few months back. A little foundation here (Chanel and Dior of course), some bronzer there, and a little mascara, and Voila, a camera-ready Neal. Take a peek at one of the photos that you just might see splashed on the pages of various magazines! Cowboy up!

Anytime fashion and cocktails stylishly collide, I will gladly be the first in line, and this will be no exception. September 10th, the world with clink their glasses and cheers to the glorious grande dame that is FASHION. Fashion's Night Out, a global event, will kick off with posh parties, guest appearances, and flowing cocktails, to celebrate style and give the fashion world and retail economy a much-needed breath of fresh air. Not one to ever back down from a party, NorthPark Center in Dallas, will be leading the way with an outdoor screening of the Valentino documentary, "The Last Emperor." Neiman Marcus North Park will be hosting an evening to remember as well, and you might want to pop in for a glass of bubbly and to say hello to Yours Truly. Snag a Fashion's Night Out t-shirt with 40% of sales going to the National September 11th Memorial & Museum. Every Girl Needs....

One of these... this brush set from Sephora has everything a glam gal could ask for (face, eyes, brows) and for under $75, it's basically a steal. Some individual brushes can cost up to $50 (ummm Hello Mac Powder brush, which I couldn't live without, but come on, that is just cosmetic cruelty) but what's the point when you get much more bang for your buck here. And, it's pretty in pink. Love.

Lush Lashes

Ok, so I haven't personally tried this product, but my boss swears by Enormous Lash. In fact, her exact words are: "It will make your lashes look like huge, fluttering fans." Who wouldn't want that! It's a vitamin-packed serum that you apply to the lash line twice a day, with results in about 2 months. It comes with a pretty price tag, but Nordstrom is running a two-for-one special right now. Check it out!!

Fresh Face

I enjoy the finer things in life... I even have a tshirt that says so, and I wear it proudly. However, as a "work-hard-for-the-money" kind of girl, I sometimes have to opt for "drugstore" over designer. Which is why I LOVE my Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation. It's not too heavy (especially for this hot summer weather) but the coverage is AMAZING. It literally covers your pores instead of sinking into them, giving you an airbrushed finish. And for less that $10, thats something any Uptown Girl can appreciate.
